Where it comes from

Input Field Condition Reaches the row by
SPD/spd_postcodeindex_cut_26_2_csv/SmallUser.csv (pinned, SHA256 fc82f1091ac1…) GridReferenceEasting, GridReferenceNorthing the life's own grid reference the row itself
SPD/spd_postcodeindex_cut_26_2_csv/LargeUser.csv (pinned, SHA256 dcb060cbce01…) GridReferenceEasting, GridReferenceNorthing the life's own grid reference the row itself
spd_user_type, a derived column of the same row spd_user_type with LinkedSmallUserPostcode, identifies a PO box the row itself
SPD/spd_postcodeindex_cut_26_2_csv/LargeUser.csv (pinned, SHA256 dcb060cbce01…) LinkedSmallUserPostcode NO LINKP marks a PO box, whose grid reference is the sorting office: its codes are cleared and its status is po_box the row itself
data.gov.uk/SG_UrbanRural_2016/SG_UrbanRural_2016.shp (pinned, SHA256 be6b61cc12a4…) polygon geometry the polygon containing the point the row itself
data.gov.uk/SG_UrbanRural_2016/SG_UrbanRural_2016.shx (pinned, SHA256 d8b132ccdd29…) geometry index locates each polygon in the .shp the row itself
data.gov.uk/SG_UrbanRural_2016/SG_UrbanRural_2016.prj (pinned, SHA256 d97d27668037…) coordinate reference system British National Grid, the grid reference's system the row itself
data.gov.uk/SG_UrbanRural_2016/SG_UrbanRural_2016.dbf (pinned, SHA256 d411d8a039d9…) UR6Class the class of the polygon found the row itself

Scope: the row itself.

What was done to it: placed. The class of the polygon containing the life's grid reference, by point in polygon; cleared for a PO box (a large user whose LinkedSmallUserPostcode is NO LINKP). Shares the placement algorithm and its gate; there is no direct comparison with NRS codes for this version. (code: simd_ingest/core/rurality.py: classify, place, attach_rurality, is_po_box)

How it is checked (what each check tests; whether a build passed it is in that build's manifest.json["checks"])

  • rurality.2016.columns_present: the shapefile carries the declared 6-fold and 8-fold columns
  • rurality.2016.polygons: the shapefile has the declared number of polygons
  • rurality.2016.reference_system: the shapefile is in British National Grid
  • rurality.2016.folds_nest: the 6-fold is exactly the official collapse of the 8-fold
  • rurality.points_present: the records to place carry grid references
  • readback.history.rurality_values: every point is placed again from the saved file's grid references and equal

Why: rurality-by-version, nullable-integers-and-never-blank-text
